Mission: Bring hope to those on hospice due to cancer.

The Verthermia Foundation’s mission is to extend life for people with terminal cancers who are on The Verthermia Foundation’s (TVF) mission is to extend life for people with terminal cancers who are on hospice or are hospice eligible. For those faced with the heart-wrenching news that hospice is the next step for themselves or for a loved one, The Verthermia Foundation provides much-needed hope and help. With your assistance, TVF provides access to HEATT®, a therapy intended to increase life expectancy and quality of life for late-stage cancer patients on hospice.

The Need

Some cancer patients are given the news that their cancer is highly treatable. Hope is high. We can fight it. We will win.

For others, however, their future with cancer is not so bright. Patients with ovarian cancer have less than a 50% chance of being alive in five years. Those with lung cancer have a 20.5% chance of living for another five years. Alarmingly, patients with pancreatic cancer face only a 10% chance of living beyond three to five years.

With your contribution, The Verthermia Foundation gives hope to cancer patients who desire quality of and extension of life, beyond the current expectations. TVF brings hope when hope is hard to find.

How We Help Bring Hope

The Verthermia Foundation achieves its mission by:

  • Providing financial grants to eligible patients who need HEATT® therapy.
  • Contributing to cutting-edge research and development in cancer therapy.

You can be an important partner to restore hope to those who need it most.
